Reproductive Healthcare Benefit Program

Reproductive Healthcare Benefit Program

The State of Illinois is committed to making sure that the State is a safe haven for everyone in need of accessible and equitable healthcare, including reproductive healthcare.  To ensure access the Reproductive Healthcare Benefit Program will reimburse eligible employees for some costs associated with the need for themselves, or their dependents, to travel outside of their state of residence to access reproductive healthcare.

The Reproductive Healthcare Benefit Program is available to all active employees and retirees to cover some costs associated with accessing reproductive healthcare for themselves and their dependents who are required to travel to another state in order to access reproductive healthcare.

The travel for reproductive healthcare must be final before expenses are eligible for reimbursement.  If spouses are both State employees, only one reproductive healthcare benefit is available per instance.
