Subject: FY27 Travel Guide for State of Illinois Employees
The Fiscal Year 2027 Travel Guide for State Employees was available July 1, 2026, at: Travel Guide for State Employees.
The Travel Guide contains information regarding State employee travel. It also includes the Fiscal Year 2027 State Rate Hotel Listing, a comprehensive guide to hotels that offer State employees quality accommodations at discounted rates.
The State Rate Hotel Listing is designed to assist travelers in locating hotels and identifying services that meet their specific needs. Employees are required to contact State rate hotels first when seeking overnight accommodations. The rates listed in the State Rate Hotel Listing are valid for travel occurring on or after July 1, 2026, and will remain in effect through September 30, 2027.
Please note, due to our State Rates being directly tied to the federal per diem rates, Per diem rates | GSA, going forward changes will be made to the state hotel listing starting on October 1st, 2027.
