Possible online services disruption due to Internet related outage

A worldwide technology outage is causing disruption to some State of Illinois online systems.  We are aware of this issue and are diligently working on restoration.

Office of Operational Excellence

The Office of Operational Excellence was formed within CMS on May 1, 2016, to oversee and coordinate the State of Illinois Rapid Results initiative. The Office Provides Centralized statewide training and guidance on the principles of continuous improvement, and project implementation support for CMS and all executive agencies. The Office also coordinates the collection and reporting of process improvement metrics and agency success stories.

Using proven principles of Continuous Improvement, the Office of Operational Excellence works to improve State government services in Illinois through centralized Statewide training and support for employees from all agencies as they utilize its Rapid Results principles of continuous improvement. The Office’s mission is to reduce process waste, improve service value, and instill a statewide culture of continuous improvement by empowering employees to deliver services more effectively and efficiently.
