Travel Update 10-02

Attached is the Fiscal Year 2010 Preferred Hotel Listing. The Governor's Travel Control Board has negotiated agreements with a total of 297 hotels/lodges. The FY10 listing is a comprehensive guide to hotels that offer state employees quality accommodations at a discounted rate.

The Preferred Hotel Listing has been designed to assist travelers in locating hotels and identifying services to fit their specific needs. Employees are required to contact preferred hotels first when seeking overnight accommodations.

The rates listed are valid through June 30, 2010.

The FY10 Preferred Hotel Listing will also be available on the internet at: http://www.state.il.us/cms/2_servicese_oth/trvlguid.htm. As hotels are added to the listing, this site will be updated. In an effort to reduce costs, a hard copy of the Travel Guide for State Employees will not be published this year.
