A worldwide technology outage is causing disruption to some State of Illinois online systems.  We are aware of this issue and are diligently working on restoration.

  1. Call to Order

    At approximately 10:45am Chairman Anthony Pascente called to order a meeting of the Governor’s Travel Control Board.

  2. Consideration of Minutes

    March 5, 2020

    The minutes of the meeting of the March 5, 2020 meeting were approved. Motion made by Chairman Pascente with a second by Jim Foys to approve the minutes.

      2. ISP – Blanket Exception for Executive Protection
      3. ISP – Hotel Cancellation Fee

  4. New Business

    The board discussed the use of personal vehicles with regard to the COVID-19 Pandemic. It was decided that a blanket exception would be put in place until September 30, 2020 allowing employees to claim mileage reimbursement in lieu of being instructed to utilize state cars, rental cars, Amtrak, etc.

  5. Adjournment

    A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 11:30 am by Jasmine Hooks. Chairman Pascente seconded the motion.
