Travel Control Board Meeting - December 6, 2021

1. Call to Order
   

   At approximately 10:00 a.m. Chairman Anthony Pascente called to order a meeting of the Governor’s Travel Control Board.
   

2. Consideration of Minutes
   

   September 22, 2021
   

   The minutes of the meeting of the September 22, 2021 meeting were approved. Motion made by Jim Foys Chaiman Pascente with a second to approve by Chairman Anthony Pascente.

3. Exceptions
   1. Approved Travel Exceptions
      1. Illinois Department of Transporation – Resort Amenity Fee
   2. Denied Travel Exceptions
      1. Illinois Department of Transportation – Flight Change Increase
   
   
4. New Business
   

   Department of Revenue – Electronic Travel Voucher
   The rollout of this system has not been approved by DoIT, therefore it has been stalled. It was discussed that more research needs to be done and reachout to DoIT and IOC needs to be done to see if this system can be utilized by other agencies in order to streamline the process. Chaiman Anthony Pascente recommended a meeting be scheduled prior to the quarterly meeting and a representative from DoIT be requested. It was requested the meeting to discuss be scheduled in February and the topic can be followed up in the quarterly meeting.

5. Adjournment
   

   A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 10:29 a.m. by Jim Foys and Chairman Anthony Pascent seconded the motion.
