Erin was born in Chicago, Illinois. After high school, she joined the United States Navy and spent six years on active duty, four of those aboard the U.S.S. Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) as a nuclear machinist mate. Upon completing her enlistment, she attended the University of Illinois, where she received her bachelor’s in liberal arts and then her law degree. After a short stint in private practice, she began her career in public service, working at the Illinois Attorney's General office. She then moved to the labor office at Central Management Services (CMS) as an entry level attorney performing simple arbitrations and answering basic contract interpretation questions. She took on the position of Deputy Director of Labor Relations at CMS in December 2020. She lives in Central Illinois with her husband and three sons.

Sara Redding Wilson is President & CEO of Drive-To-Work, a §501(c)3 Virginia non-profit corporation. She provides legal services to low income or previously incarcerated individuals to restore their driving privileges so they can drive to work and keep a job. Previously she was the Agency Head for the Virginia Department of Human Resource Management serving six Governors. In addition, she was an Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary to Signet Banking Corporation, now part of Wells Fargo. She graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics from Hamilton College and a J.D. from the University of Richmond T. C. Williams School of Law. Ms. Wilson is a member of the Virginia State, Richmond, and Virginia Bar Associations. She has received numerous leadership awards throughout the years. Currently she is on the civic Boards of Drive-To-Work, Goochland Cares, Virginia Community Development Corporation, Richmond Law Advisory Counsel, and President of the Board of Health Quality Innovators.

Leslie Scott serves as Executive Director of the National Association of State Personnel Executives. Since joining NASPE in 1999, she has led the organization as the recognized authority in state government human resource management while developing networking and information-sharing channels among state governments and their corporate partners. Prior to joining NASPE, Scott worked with other state government associations including the National Association of State Procurement Officials, the National Association of State Chief Administrators and the National Association for Government Training & Development. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of Route Fifty. Scott is a resident and native of Lexington, Kentucky where she has served on the board of the League of Women Voters and in various leadership capacities in school PTAs and committees as well as youth soccer organizations.

Rebecca Hunter served on Governor Bill Haslam’s cabinet as Commissioner of the Department of Human Resources for eight years. Prior to this appointment, she spent six years as the Director of Human Resources for Hamilton County Government in Chattanooga and held management positions in governmental finance for over 25 years. Rebecca is a Certified Public Accountant and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). During her tenure with State government, Rebecca established the Department of Human Resources as a leader in innovative human resources practices, while shaping the best workforce for state government. She led a successful effort to transform the State’s employment practices with the passage of the T.E.A.M. Act, which has moved the State from a focus on seniority to a focus on performance. As a result, all state employees have a S.M.A.R.T. performance plan which aligns their work with the agency goals and the Governor’s priorities.
