Illinois Public Act 101-0652 and Executive Order 14074 have brought about requirements at both the State and Federal level when it pertains to Law Enforcement Agencies obtaining Federal Surplus Property through either the LESO or GSA programs. The easiest way to stay on top of all LESO requirements is to review your State Plan of Operation (SPO) and the SPO Addendum that was signed by your Chief Law Enforcement Officer.
